So, I’m training for a race again and it’s all my son’s fault. I can’t say that I’m upset about it though. I’ve missed running (I never said I was sane…).
He and I have begun training for the Springtime Tallahassee 5K. It’s not until the end of March, so we have plenty of time to get into (or back into) running shape and get trained to run 3.1 miles.
Also, because I’m fast approaching my *gasp* 40th birthday, and my joints aren’t what they used to be, I’m combining our running schedule with some PiYo. The Yoga/Pilates hybrid will do my son some wonders too, just, at his request, um … don’t tell his friends. 🙂
Now, all of my home workout DVDs have come with a handy-dandy calendar/schedule. Which I promptly lose. So I’ve started to create my own, printable versions. This way, I can mark them up, X them off, or just plain lose them and still not wonder “WTH workout am I supposed to do today?”
I also know there are many people out there, just like me. So I’m going to start sharing my creations, beginning with PiYo. Eventually, I’ll have a page with all of them.
