OK, technically I will be at Pike’s Peak in spirit only. While I’d love to someday conquer that rock, it’s actually my mom that’s going to make the mountain cry in August.
And because I’m so inspired by my mother’s personal Tour de Peak, I’m launching a 90-day fitness challenge on May 1st to get me into shape and her into better shape.
Those of us participating in this challenge will use the workouts and eating plans of our choice to meet our personal goals.
For instance, I’m going to crack open my shiny, new copy of Power 90 and dust off my favorite two food books (“The World’s Healthiest Foods” by George Mateljan and “The New Abs Diet” by David Zinczenko), as well as start every day with some Shakeology for breakfast.
My goal is to lose 10 to 15 pounds over the next 90 days.
Of course our journey will be documented here. We’ll share progress, favorite recipes, most hated workouts, pictures and more. And it’s never to late to *join us. The more, the merrier and I’d love to help you conquer your own fitness mountain!
